    First impression update: PF9+Minituck

So, I just checked the mail and the Minituck I ordered for my new PF9 arrived!

I've been itching to carry this pistol for the last couple weeks, but I didn't have a holster.

My first impression is: the difference between a G26 IWB and a PF9 IWB is night and day. I really can't stress enough how light and comfortable this setup is. In the past I have read people claim that 'they forgot they were wearing xyz', and I always thought that was a bit of an exaggeration. Now, I see that it's possible!

One other thing I noticed: the Minituck is a bit thinner than the MTAC (without that extra leather backing) but it doesn't seem to be less comfortable. I guess with this kind of thing I probably should have been counting the extra width mm all along, because I do think it helps.

I feel really sad to say, I don't know if I'll be carrying my G26 much anymore. I had gotten used to it, but it was still a little annoying.

For anyone else who is CCing a double stack or heavier gun and hasn't looked into something like this, I highly encourage you to try it!

Nice rig! Where did you order it? If you don't mind what is the price tag on one of those and do they make them for Bulgarian Makarov 9x18's? The crosses are cool too. Very impressed and jealous. Congrats

Congratulations on the new rig. I had a very similar experience. I carried the Glock 27 for years before switching to the Kahr MK9. I carried the MK9 in a MiniClip for a few weeks before deciding it was still too heavy for me. I ended up buying a Kahr PM9 and wear it in a MiniTuck. Lighter is definitely a lot more comfortable.

    Nice pics.
You may not like guns. You may choose not to own one. That is your right.
You might not believe in God. That is your choice.
However, if someone breaks into your home at 3AM the first two things you are going to do are:
    1) Call someone with a gun.
2)Pray they get there in time." - A wise man

Not to be a wet blanket, but when I went to Crossbreed's web site, I got a bunch of trojan warnings about their Java scripts.

The holsters look tempting though. I'd basically given up on IWB. This may lure me back.

    - There's been something wrong with their site in the last day or so. If you're going to place an order, I would it over the phone until things with the website are sorted out.
