Any idea how long it takes to get a Utah non resident permit? I recently applied for Florida and Utah at the same time. The Fl. only took 25 days. Its only been about 9 weeks, so I guess I am a little early, but curious.

Any idea how long it takes to get a Utah non resident permit? I recently applied for Florida and Utah at the same time. The Fl. only took 25 days. Its only been about 9 weeks, so I guess I am a little early, but curious.

I am probably about 50 or so days out on Utah and nothing yet. I have heard about 60 days.
Mine was 10 weeks to the day for Utah.

I turned in my paperwork to the BCI with a check on 1/14, payment processed 1/21, received my CFP 3/6.
That's 45 calender days from date of payment processed - which is when the BCI's clock starts ticking.
My instructor in the class I took 2 days ago said 60 days...He said it was something like 120 days but they hired more help...

I''m not sure what state you live in, but you don't need both UT and FL...check here: USA Carry - Open and Concealed Carry Information and Community
A FL non-resident (technicality), will give you more states than a UT...no advantage to the UT non-resident over the FL. OMO
