GA/ND Sign Agreement NC Honors NE

North Dakota is reporting they have signed a reciprocity agreement with Georgia. North Dakota is reporting this on their Official Reciprocity Website. The GA AG nor the GA State Police are reporting this agreement as of this afternoon. I talked to people in ND and they stated they have a signed agreement. GA is always a little slow on posting agreements.

NC has finally listed NE as a state they honor. NC is another state that is slow to officially report agreements. Things are still moving in the right directions for concealed carry. Handgunlaw.us will be updated in the next 48 hours to reflect this change in Reciprocity.

They need to get it worked out that all CC permits are recognized everywhere in the Country. One day we might have this happen.

Georgia Carry stated last week that this was coming and the AG stated that if ND accepted ours, we'd accept theirs.


BTW, GA SB308 just passed the Senate today. This bill will list places that are off limits and remove the vague Public Gathering law. A few amendments were passed, but removing Airport carry failed and the bill passed as it was written in that regard. I missed whether the amendment to remove Church and Bar carry failed or not, but I'll know tomorrow.

Now if we could just get Georgia to recognize a West Virginia permit and vice versa.

Sadly it ain't happening fast enough.
