That was funny, the MSM talking about private property and states' rights. It seems that the world is full of utilitarians, though. Its all about "are the effects positive or negative?" I, for one, do not care. It is wrong to deprive people of the ability to defend themselves. Even if more permits meant drastically more crime, it would still be wrong to take away the defense options of innocent people.

Some of the individual comments on the poll made me shake my head... I guess I just do not understand the mentality of some people. If someone is a hothead and they go off, IMHO they're going to use whatever is available to them.
