Congrats to both of you. Now when you go out, you are a team. You should go to the range together, and practice armed combat scenarios together. So that you can be each others back up!

Mine is close, and ralizes the need ,but says, we haven't the money to spend on the class and permit.

    Sweet! Congrats!

My wife too recently came around and as each week since her class passes her impatience waiting for the permit grows. She has an SP101 and it's sitting on the shelf with a box of Corbon DPX .38+P's. I keep telling her to order a holster because when the permit shows up she's just gonna have to wait more! She even bought a shirt yesterday and asked "would this be a good cover shirt?"

When I first took my CPL class I holstered up every day, if I left the house, I simply locked up the firearm and left the holster in place.
Carrying at home helped with getting used to carrying and going out even with an empty holster, I got experience keeping it covered.
    Have her start now.

    Yep she is legal now!!
I'm glad you made an honest woman out of her!

Seriously, congratulations to you both. My wife got her CWL a couple of years ago. She feels "empowered," and I feel a lot more comfortable that she's carrying. Especially since we have a baby now, and she can't run away from a thread as effectively when carrying a 25-lb. baby.

The link posted earlier should have been to corneredcat.com (not corneredcar.com). I highly recommend that site to both of you.

That is good to hear congratulations to you and your wife, one who is made aware of the fact that the world isn't always puppies and flowers tend to prepare a lot better then those who haven't been. See 2nd part of my sig below
