CCW in Gatlinburg TN?
I'm CCW licensed in North Carolina and am traveling to Gatlinburg, TN soon for a brief vacation with family.
Anyone familiar with the CCW laws in Tennessee and (more specifically) in Gatlinburg? Any 'Gotcha!'s or significant deviations in laws from NC? Any input would be appreciated.
Peace.

Seems like every restaurant in Gatlinburg serves alcohol/has a bar. That's the only problem I ran into. Gatlinburg is an interesting place....

Just watch the restaurants and you should be pretty good. I also heard that Ripleys have no carry signs. Haven't been there in a while but that's what I was told. Next door in Pigeon Forge, I haven't seen any signs. Enjoy your trip!

Remember you can carry in the GSMNP now. Just keep it out of the buildings where employees of the park are, including visitor centers. Just in case you venture that way.

I live about 30 minutes from Gburg(as it's called locally). In Tn you cannot carry into a place where alcohol is consumed.
Keep an eye where you park you vehicle. My friend was just there about a month ago and his truck was broken into at the hotel he was staying at. THEY TOOK EVERYTHING

Thanks for the update. Where are the signs posted in Ripley's?
I looked and did not see any a year ago.
