It's better to have it when you need it then need it and dont have it.

Both are excellent products. There is no such thing as "best".

There are so many great choices these days. One would naturally question... best for what?

Try a box of each in your gun and see which one you are more accurate with.

Best for what? There isn't a hair's difference in the top 10 brands of ammo. The BIG bottom line is what's accurate in your gun and what's reliable in your gun. Some brands are more accurate than others, and some guns don't like all brands. I'll give you some top names to do research on:

    Corbon
    Buffalo Bore
    Winchester
    Speer
    Federal
and I'm sure there are more brands that other posters will mention.

Personally, for me, it's Corbon DPX in my two carry weapons, a 9mm and a .40 S&W.

Any ammo that is on the shelve lately is the best. Not being a smart butt, being a honest butt here.

The best ammo, is the one that functions properly in your weapon. Some guns can be finicky about the ammo fed to them. Try different ones to see what works for you.

Either would be fine, in your Glock...just about anything.

I say try all the defensive ammo you can, and see what works best in your weapon, especially if it is an auto.....revolver....no problem.

When I asked "best for what" I was serious. WHAT do you intend to use it for? Hunting wild boar? Target practice? Self Defense?

I doubt there are many folks who shoot a lot of steel plates with Corbon DPX but for personal defense, it's awesome! Heck, it might be great on steel too but I sure can't afford to find out!

So to the OP... what kind of shooting are you talking about? It does make a difference.

I'd say that if you can find any .45gap ammo, you should by it.

Either would do the job, but I think Speer Gold Dots would do it better.
