SLED's sight is dated 2008...so guessing they just don't bother updating it. I would call them and ask for an up-to-date list.

I noticed that there are 17 reciprocity states listed on South Carolina Law Enforcement Division but on other reciprocity maps for SC there are a lot more states listed? Is it because Sled needs to update there reciprocity states or the other reciprocity maps are wrong? Click on links.

It's better to have it when you need it then need it and dont have it.
11 States honor all other states permits. Those 11 don't have to have agreements and don't care if other states honor theirs or not. They just honor all other states permits. It looks like Iowa may do the same thing shortly. That is why there are more states showing on the maps than SC has listed on their website.
