    My resolve to carry

Hi all I just wanted to update everyone on my decision to carry concealed again, and how its been going for me thus far. Well I'd guess its going on 2 1/2 weeks now since I purchased another pistol and my license to carry was reinstated and I have to say I'm more and more comfortable with my decision to resume exercise my right to self defense.

Also just last night I was watching one of those forensic shows and it was about a woman who was murdered randomly and she was just minding her own business. This really reiterated to me the need to have a defensive firearms at all times wherever and whenever it it legal.

In fact as I type this my Taurus 85UL is riding I'm my right front pocket and it is a very comforting feeling indeed.

Congrats on carrying again. I know you have been to hell and back, but I am glad your resolve to carry is still strong. Best of luck to you and stay safe.
When I carry a gun, I don't do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I'm looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don't carry it because I'm afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid.

I don't know your background or what made you stop carrying originally, but welcome back. An armed society is a polite society, but also a SAFE society.

Glad to see you made that decision.

I hope the rest of the situation is working out for you.

Glad to see you didn't let the BGs (or wayward LEOs or lawyers, etc.) get the best of you, legally or otherwise.

Hey, we only get one life and one shot at it. I am willing to sacrifice my life for a worthy cause, but it is at my discretion and never for a frivolous or reckless reason.

For that reason, having the self reliance and means to protect myself and loved ones life is a high priority and one I don't want squandered away.

Any aspect of my life which comes to jeopardize my ability to have all the tools I need to defend myself, I remove from my life and lifestyle. Fortunately my wife feels the exact same way and is on the same page with me.

I know you've had a rough patch and difficult times with your domestic situation and I for one commend you on taking a stand and choose not to give up your right to have a gun to defend your life.

Glad to have you back with us.
