Need help with a belt
I appologize if this topic has been asked before, but I need some advise on selecting a belt. I am on a slightly tight budget so Beltman, brand new Galco and the other big name brands are out of my range right now. However I have found some good ones on ebay that I can afford. How good is Bianchi? There are plenty of them on ebay in the $20 range. I just dont want to buy one and be dissappointed. Any help will be appreciated.

If you are on a budget you might want to check out http://www.lapolicegear.com/511-tact...ert-pants.html You can get a pair of 5.11 pants with a belt for about $15. Its a sturdy belt and inexpensive. You can try to enter coupon code "Tweet" for 10% off.

LA Police Gear 5.11 Tactical, Galco, Maxpedition, Converse, Bates, Danner, Surefire and Blackhawk
look at the 5.11 leather casual belts...great belt with a stiffener for $34.95...sorry you missed it but they had a closeout a couple of months back where they were selling the brown in certain sizes for 7.99...its a great belt at a great price...
also try looper leather...good belts...reasonable prices...

i forgot the "tweet' code...i thought they were running a 10% on the 'stimulus" code but that might be someone else...
the pants deal doesnt give you a choice of color or style but it is a great deal and regardless of color its a great belt...
good advice...

I'd suggest the Wilderness Instructors Belt, really strong, loop adjustment makes for fine-tuning degree of snugness.

I have one of the 5.11 Casual belts. It looks nice, it's simple, and the stiffener is excellent.

Honestly I would save for a bit and get a good belt if I were you. I saved awhile and bought a Galco for $55 and have been very happy with it. You'll never regret buying quality.

) so now have two identical black belts. You really can't beat these for the price (free is pretty good)!

Another Thought...
Hi. I stopped by Ross (you know the discount clothes place...) and got a 1.25" Levi's belt for $9.99. I chose a belt that is thick and won't flex much when you squeeze it in your fist. The one I found looks like it is two strips of leather sewn together (one side is black and the other is brown).
I know it's not a 'Gun Belt (tm)', but it works really well...

I loved the Bianchi I had! Unfortunaletly, it shrunk over the years. I have a tan Beltman and a $12-15 belt from W-M I think, that actually does pretty well; kinda what Pocket9 says.

It will delaminate in an amazingly short period of time. Mine lasted about a month.

I saw someplace a recommendation for Tractor Suppy Company work belts, and I picked one up a couple months ago. C.E. Schmidt belt, $20, and it works great.

My EDC is a full size 1911, and this belt does the trick.
