Well, in Florida, your Military ID or DD-214 would suffice for training and you get all the legalese in a package from the Sheriff when you get fingerprinted. They figure you are pretty well trained on gun safety and levelheadedness by Uncle Sam. My kids live in Allen Texas and I visit there a couple of times a year so I kinda like Texas also.

These are the people I took my CHL class with last year. He is a retired officer and has a ton of military personnel take the class each month. It may be worth it to give them a call or shoot him an e-mail.
