Congrats, i just started carrying a few months ago and it has changed the way i look at almost everything/everyone. I always look to see if i can tell if someone else is CCing. A fanny pack used to look like just a fany pack, now i wonder. lol. I believe it has made me have even more SA so i know what decision to make so that i don't get myself in any trouble legally against a BG.
    stay safe, and congrats again.

Excellent Pink Lady. Some good reading for you, taken from The Ayoob Files is Mas' account of The Helen Weathers Incident. Without trying to re-tell the story I will just say, in Mas Ayoob's words: "One more scumbag learned his lesson, don't mess with nice ladies with big guns".

Good job. Now practice over and over again opening and drawing from the fanny pack. They can be hard to deal with under stress.

Congrats! And careful - when I first started carrying I was so self-conscious about it I kept "adjusting" it and touching it, even though it was well-concealed. My better half set me straight!

Good for you! The feeling...remember that feeling. It grows, and at some point in time the initial feeling disappears as it becomes habit. The next feeling after that happens will be when you feel unnatural without it. Always carry, 'cause you never know. Welcome to the club....we know you'll like it here.

Knowing that you're not exactly helpless is a great feeling...be sure to practice drawing an 'empty' gun so that you can do it without really thinking about it.

    Stay armed...practice...stay safe!

Congrats from me, too...but keep in mind that in a TRULY stressful SHTF moment, you can just shoot right through the thing if you have to. Same goes for a conceal carry purse.
