I conceal carried today for the first time.

Well I conceal carried today for the first time. I headed out for a walk today and took my husbands sp 101 in a fanny pack. It feels good to know that I can protect myself if need be. I can feel safe going for walks now by myself. I like that.

    Congrats!
Knowing that you're not exactly helpless is a great feeling...be sure to practice drawing an 'empty' gun so that you can do it without really thinking about it.

    Stay armed...practice...stay safe!

Have you shot the sp101 until you are confidant with it?

It is one fine pistol that can do the defense work very well.

Also if you do not have one consider a thin handle lock blade folder with pocket clip, easily carried in waste band and if worked with can be very effective up close and personal defense tool.

    Stay safe and keep carring!!!!!

Congrats. My wife carries and it's a comfort that she has protection when out alone and that I have a backup if I need it.

Should I mention the Wally World Walk?

Awesome job on taking personal responsibility up a notch and being more prepared than you were 2 days ago.
