iWB @ 3:30 I hold on to my xd9 and lower it to the floor and keep it on the side of my ankle and flip my boxers over the butt of the gun just In case someone peeks to see if the stall is in use,or a curious kid.

I carry IWB. I leave the holster and the gun in place. I just don't pull my trousers very far down (like to the knee area only). Besides, who wants their trousers puddling on a nasty public restroom floor?

Well I don't have a gun belt. I'm going to get one soon and that might help with the sag but with how I currently wear the holster with my Levi jeans it just feels awkward to have the gun flop to the side. I don't feel in control of the weapon and feel much better with it on top of my underwear.

I'm also one that heavily discourages unholstering.
    I'm a chick and I carry a 1911 in an OWB holster.
Like VARob, I lower and re-buckle the belt above the knees.
Never had a retention problem, never had the possibility of "forgetting the gun".

A local LEO left his hanging on a coat hook in the loo. He was very embarrased when he came back and the clerk had already called his boss to retreve it. NO COAT HOOKS THROUGH THE TRIGGER GAURD. It sets you up to forget it or have an accedental discharge.

I just rest mine inside my pants as I sit and think.

    BINGO! What he said!!

I have been doing this for a long time and this technique works with all my guns including my 5" 1911 IWB or OWB. Keeps the gun upright with muzzle pointed at floor. Also helps mask the shape of the gun's outline.

Just my opinion, but unholstering/reholstering a gun is adding unnesessary risk. If I had to remove the gun, I would remove the holster with the gun inside.

PS: Pick a stall where your gun-side is next to a wall if you can.

Try to find a stall on the end next to a wall, preferably with the wall on the side you carry on. That way, no one can grab and go from under the stall.

When I say this covered on Personal Defense TV the advice they gave was IWB, pants to the knees and apply pressure outward to hold in place. But personally OWB level II SERPA, doesn't budge on the belt loops so as long as the belt is wrapped up and doesn't come undone all together it's fine, and when the paddle is on the SERPA it's even easier between the belt and pants being clipped at the same time.

And then there's the "Standing-Up" mode for guys.
So much simpler and if you print temporarily, no one will see because no guy EVER turns his head while at the urinal.

IWB Walther .380. I set it on the TP dispenser. Then re-configure when I'm done. Best I can offer. If that is not an option, front pocket and hang on to my drawers so the weight doesn't drag my trousers to the floor. My Walther feels like my wallet now and I check both before proceeding anywhere. Never been tempted to leave it behind.

Because my mind is going in so many different directions at work, I have unfortunately left mine sitting on my shelf in my store bathroom a couple times. I wound up getting a small safe that is now next to my work bench that I can stash it in real quick for bathroom breaks. Bonus is that it has 2 levels so it also houses my Glock 22 for easy retrieval. Out in the world though, I leave it in my Supertuck and carefully lower my shorts/pants to the floor, making sure it leans in and not out and of course obviously stalls only.
