I like that rig. What kind is it?

It is a Pure Kustom Black Ops Pro. Twenty seven or so ajustments and OWB to boot. The most beautiful holster I have ever purchased. Rocky is a true artist and a nice guy. The gunbelt is a horsehide by Al Childress at A&G. Another great guy and great product.
By the way Phantom, I have tried most of those twenty seven adjustments and with the sharp edge of the butt checkering digging into my bare flesh without an undershirt it is not really comfortable. I attest to this as I am wearimg it this way as I am typing. I might change to an MTac to see if I can be comfortable tucking, but I think I am wasting money. Easier in the summer to just pocket carry.

I carry one. No issues that weren't ammo related in coming up on 1500 rounds down the barrel.

I really wish you would consider the "PRO" series (4" barrel) before you decide 100%. I have the Pro Crimson Carry and I think it's the perfect compromise to the full size 1911 when you're trying to CC a gun.
By the way, good on ya' for choosing Kimber.

The one I have my eye on is a 4". I assumed it was 3", but it is a Pro. I am concerned that since it's stainless, it will be nicked easily.

I carry my Kimber Grand Raptor II full size. It took me a while to find a spot that was comfortable and concealed it, but it seems to work best at about 4 'o clock on me. Hides very well there.

Is it an all steel gun? My slide is SS but my frame is aluminum with a matte steel finish.

I been carrying a Kimber SLE (full stainless 4") with no problems. I believe with a good belt and good holster you should not have any problems. I actually like carrying this pistol over carrying my Taurus PT145, because the imprint of the pistol does not dig in to my hip like the PT145.
Things happen, but the only thing that matters at the end of the day is what you do during and after in order to survive.

I pulled the trigger (so to speak) today and picked up a Kimber Compact SS II.
Also went with the Minotaur MTAC Holster by Comp-Tac; very comfortable!
Looks the Glock will now be the nightstand weapon! Can't wait to hit the range this weekend.
Thanks everyone for all of your feedback!

I used to carry a Kimber Utra CDP II...very easy to conceal!
Now the Kimber sits in the safe...I found the Glock line!

It may be the holster, a different body type, skin sensitivity or even just the checkering of your grips. Maybe even how snug/loose your pants or belt is.
