Growing up there was a group of burglars in our neighborhood that would break into people's houses and take all of their TV's and other valuables and wait a few weeks and then rob them again because by then the homeowners would have replaced the goods.

Getting your **** stolen is never a laughing matter... When my jeep was stolen I felt violated.. my heart sank it was a pain in the butt and yet another thing I had to deal with. I have mounted safes in my car and conceal them. If they break in I am banking on them either not finding them or not having the tools to break into them. I don't store guns in my car long term either.

You need a bumper sticker that says

"If you can read this, your in my cross hairs."

And that's exactly where many go. I used to scuba dive in the Spokane River in (where else) Spokane, WA., and it was common to find firearms of all types on the bottm, particularly beneath bridges. Some had only been there for hours (no rust, little sediment). A call to the Cops went out unless the firearm happened to be a rusted chunk.
