You state there is no proper 30.06 posting and nothing in your employee handbook prohibiting carry. Have any supervisors stated verbally some "no gun" policy? If not, I'd think concealed carry would be ok in Texas.......But IANAL.......

I think the part of the question being asked might pertain to Federal law and DEA rules and regulations or to individual State Pharmacy Board rules and regulations which most of us would not be familiar with.

Yes, normally unless there is a sign or an employee handbook/policy, you would be O.K. to carry. I think but don't know that you are good to go.

I would double and triple check if there are any obscure rules buried in your state pharmacy statutes, state pharmacy board rules and regs., or promulgated by DEA.

I don't know about the pharmacies but I sell alcohol and I called the TABC and asked them if there was anything saying I couldn't carry because of the alcohol and they said there was not a problem as long I obeyed the state laws. It should be the same for your situation but I'm not for sure. Like others have said, if there is nothing in the handbook and it's not posted don't say anything to anybody. Just do it and make sure you're concealed.

My pharmacy sales guns. I get my prescription filled and check out the selection. He is a big Kimber dealer and is way overpriced on everything, but people apparently still buy it. Only in Texas.....
Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it ......

Walk quietly and carry a big stick.
