    Picking Up My Permit Tomorrow

Well, I've been patiently waiting for 40 days, tomorrow will be 41. I received the email to come pick up my permit from the Wake County sherrif's office tomorrow in North Carolina. We are a shall issue state and I was so glad they did not make me wait anywhere close to the 90 days that they could. Hopefully, I sleep well tonight. Work from 7-1 in the morning. Class from 2-2:50. Stop by the house and lock the G19 in my trucks tool box and promptly there after I'll high tail it downtown to pick her up. Make the trip back with my baby in the cab. Ahh a glorious day it will be. I'm embellishing but one can't help but be excited.

Congrats. I remember getting the call and going to pick it up. As soon as I was home on went the Crossbreed and I found a reason to go somewhere. I had the holster for sometime so it was well broken in. Again; congrats.

I assume you like everyone else loves your crossbreed. I'm getting ready to put my order in for one I reckon.

    Yes, I do love it.

Until my Smartcarry arrived I even wore it while going to work and it took a lot of effort because it was harder to conceal but the Crossbreed is my first choice every time. If I'm not working 90% of the time the Crossbreed is my first choice for carry. BTW, it took about 3 weeks before my Crossbreed arrived.

If you don't mind me asking, what are the specifics of your cross breed? Did you just go standard? Or did you get combat cut or horse hide or anything? I've been contemplating the horse hide. North Carolina humidity can be horrible at times.

Just the basic. I live in Maine. Don't have to worry about humidity to much. See below.

I got the horsehide on both of mine. It's only $15, and the humidity (and at least the heat) in Texas warranted it.

My only issue is I can't carry at work, and it's a PAIN to get on when you're sitting in a car after work...

Thank you for the insight aedinius. I believe I am going to go with the horsehide as well.
