Why is the Wally World Walk so important?
I did a search and couldn't find a previous post in regards to this. I will admit the day I received the call to come down and get my permit I did come home and do the WWW. Do we do it because it is a large store with lots of people?
Just curious to why it is such an important rite of passage.

Not sure why anyone else does it, but I go there looking for cheap ammo. Usually disappointed as they are perpetually out of .45 ACP but I do recognize the need to do the WWW - I just can't explain it.
Take care and stay vigilant!

For making the effort, you get the 'certificate'...

Why do they call you Grasshopper? Because you are ugly like insect.
Yes, I grew up on Kung Fu theater but I love that joke.

1. Because you can
2. So you can begin to get over the "everyone can see I have a gun" syndrome, by going a place where there are alots of people and realize no one "knew" you were carrying.
3. You can test your concealment methods.
4. You can begin to realize you don't need to keep 'adjusting ' the gun and worrying about it .
5. To pick up some ammo
6. To check out some "concealment" shirts
7. To get food for the celebration of your first legal conceal carry.
8. To test your situational awareness.

It's ubiquitous and packed with plenty of people (assuming you visit during busy hours, which you are supposed to). If you do the complete Wally Walk, it's a good way of spotting issues (it helps if you have someone with you) in regards to proper concealment and behavior.
