i was there in apr 09,and people were saying there were no handgun signs and weapon type signs, along with metal detectors set up and in use. I NEVER saw any signs or metal detectors.we rode the monorail to the parks nothing on those either.its private property so if caught they will probally ask(make) you leave

Have done some searches and looked at Disney's website. It say's no weapons allowed, but is there any laws that prohibit me from carrying inside the park.

Disney's policy is no weapons on property, but the policy has no force in law. They inspect bags when you enter the park, but they don't use any metal detectors or searches of your person.
You can lawfully carry concealed there (except in a bar area of a restaurant), but if you are discovered and asked to leave you must do so immediately or risk a charge of armed trespass (which is a felony).
However...
One significant consideration to carrying in the parks is backstop. What looks like a stone or brick wall is often a thin fiberglass shell over an open framework with a few thousand people behind it. A miss or a round that over penetrates is virtually certain to hit a bystander or two.

Agreed. No "law" against lawful CC, but Disney can ask you to leave if detected.

They don't use metal detectors. If you aren't carrying a bag you walk through a separate entrance with no "security checks".

Well I perfer my P3at Kel-tec when I really want to go deep concealed so I figure it's the way to go. Thought about carrying a small back pack but I wouldn't put it in there anyway.

If they find out you have a weapon, they will first make sure you have it legally. Then they'll escort you to the security office where they have lockers. You place the weapon in the locker, and you retain the key. They'll also let you know how to contact them to retrieve your weapon before you leave the park.

That is better then most places. At least they give you the option to lock it up instead of kicking you out all together.

I just got back from Disney on Monday. I wasn't carrying, but I didn't see any metal detectors or any security beyond a quick glance inside people's bags.

Yes, the bag check is so cursory as to be a joke (as are most "security checks" by minimum wage 'inspectors'). At Sea World, they use a short dowl rod to poke into the bags (no hands allowed) for about 2 seconds. A firearm could easily be concealed.

I frequently carry my Maxpedition Colossus into the parks (it's my camera bag). In all the times I have been through the security check (at least 100), not once has any of the guards ever inspected the large zippered gun compartment.
