My favorite IWB holster (which is all I use for the reasons stated by the OP) is the Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC Holster, but Comp-Tac didn't make one for my particular pistol, so I got the second best thing, a C-TAC Holster with brown 1.5 inch belt clips. Fantastic holster that doesn't move around at all.

+1 on the Crossbreed SuperTuck. It's very comfortable and if I'm not alert, I could forget that I am carrying, and my gun is by no means light. It's even comfortable when seated since the butt of the gun is not rubbing on my back, but rather the leather on the back of the holster.

IMO OWB for most circumstances when in my home state of PA or in a state that allows OC. When going somewhere that is NOT OC friendly like certain stores or states that my LTCF has reciprocal agreement but prohibit OC and/or printing, its IWB all the way usually SOB (or a shoulder rig under coat for cold weather) My OWB is a BLACKHAWK SERPA, IWB is a BLACKHAWK as well. Shoulder rig is an uncle mikes and its comfortable as anything Ive tried. However if its cold and I wont be removing my coat I will carry OWB for comfort. It is up to the individual.

Just because no one has said anything doesn't mean that you haven't been noticed. No one has said anything to me when I open carry and I'm sure it's been noticed by at least a few.
