A quick trip to the West Virginia entry at Handgunlaw.us suggests that you can carry where alcohol is served. However, you would be wise to check the state laws as well. Many of the laws for your state are linked from the PDF I linked above.
Hope that helps.

Your GTG, just don't try to do that in Ohio until we get SB239 passed.
All the states around just use common sense. Bass akward Ohio is lagging.

BTDT -- It's OK in West-by-God.
BTW -- Don't try in in Old Virginia until after July 1.

It is a No No in NC to carry anywhere Alcohol is sold and consumed. That puts many restaurants off limits while carrying.

Same with Louisiana, but there is massive confusion about this issue due to an older weapon's law not being revoked when the much newer CCW law came in.

A good rule of thumb I have found is if children are allowed, CCW is allowed.
If you do not see the "no one under 21 years...." sign on the door, asked the first employee if kids can enter.

May work some places.
Bad move others.
Here there is no problem taking kids where you can't conceal -- from "kid friendly" places like Red Robin, through places like "Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar" and upscale locally owned high $ restaurants to "Hooters" and on to the local biker bar.
Need to know the individual State's law.

+1 on
here.
Depending on the state, there are lots of places kids can go that guns cant. in many states, such as TN, as mentioned above, you may not go into applebees carrying.
it all depends on what ur laws are. if you are in a state where its no carrying in a place that serves alcohol, you are SOL carrying into almost any restaraunt. in many other states u cant carry in any place making over 50% of income by sale of alcohol(like MI). There you need to make a judgement call. You need to be able to tell for yourself whether its a bar or not. I personally have seen tons of bars that dont have a "nobody under 21" sign that is clearly clearly a bar. Some places its really quite impossible to know other than trying to get the info from that establishment. In other states (hopefully TN in the next few days) you can carry in a bar as long as you dont drink.
