I carry in church EVERY TIME!!! Living in Colorado, we have had two graphic examples of how a BG can ruin a church gathering (look it up).
I refuse to be a sitting duck, regardless of the event or venue. If I can't carry, I don't go. Period.

People who want to become famous by shooting people choose schools, churches and offices because there are lots of people in close proximity, it is a place you think you are safe, and they don't expect resistance.
I carry in church BECAUSE it is to be a place of safety and sanctuary.

It's a sad commentary on the world we live in, but I carry...and i'm the Pastor. It's naive to think that churches are safe from danger

I took my Pastor shooting today. Was only the second time he's ever shot a gun. For a Canadian, he's a dang fine shot.
Haven't told him I'm cc'ing yet. I'll take him out a few more times.

Unfortunately, in the Great State of Arkansas, down in the middle of the Bible Belt, we are still living in the old belief that all is peace and quiet. So our legistlative folks, with their heads buried solidly in the sand, decided we should not carry in church.

The same can be said for Florida, carry is forbidden in places of worship here as well.

Many folks carry their guns at my church, concealed of course but I know of many
who have a snubby in their pocket or purse. Always been that way as far back as I can remember, I have been a member since I was six years old and have seen many a "show and tell" gathering after church in the parking lot and at picnics.
But this is the south, so it it never raised an eyebrow with anyone .
