And how long do you think you will have to draw your weapon if you ever get into that situation? 3-5 minutes to open a vacuum sealed bag, plus under pressure for the situation at hand... No thanks, if I'm going to be armed, I want to be able to draw in seconds, not minutes.

Get yourself a COM safe and leave it secured in the car.

What everyone seems to forget is that in many states, CCing into someone else's home is illegal without their knowledge... Does the little lady know you're planning to bring something capable of shooting her in the face... AND that you're bringing your gun? Haha but seriously check your state laws and decide whether you really need to carry into her house.

General rule: If the neighborhood is bad enough to warrant carry, don't go there. Otherwise, carry at all times.

Whatever you do do not "hide it with your clothes in her house"! Don't know if there could be kids there, but you do not want somebody finding it and shooting themselves, stealing it or carry it outside and say "lookie what I found". BTW, unless I was very familiar with her and family, I wouldn't do same with a lot of money in my wallet either.
