Drury Inn & Suites Supports Concealed Carry
My wife and I frequently travel and stay at Drury Inn's and Pear Tree Inn's. There has been a question about their concealed carry policy so I e-mailed them. We like the Drury, they treat us like family instead of guests. We need to support them, they do allow concealed carry according to the state law of where they are located. Below is my e-mail and response.

Good Afternoon Mr. ******,
Thank you for contacting Drury Hotels!
Our policy does allow authorized individuals to bring weapons into our hotels. Some states do restrict having a firearm in the vicinity where alcohol is being served, which applies to our reception.
If you have any other questions regarding this you can call Gary Fuhr at 314-429-2255
If I can be of anymore assistance please let me know.

What I wrote in an e-mail :
It has come to my attention that some hotel chains restrict their guests who possess a valid permit to carry a concealed handgun to be able to do so in their hotel. My wife and I both hold a valid West Virginia Concealed Revolver/Pistol License and can do so where it is legal because we do want to have the ability of self defense.
I would like to know the policy of Drury Inn. Do they allow the law-abiding citizens to carry a concealed handgun if they have the proper permit and the state where the hotel is also recognizes their permit? Or does Drury not allow this for any reason, even with a permit.
I would like to know because as a frequent visitor of the Drury, there may come the time when it would be felt necessary to carry a concealed handgun when staying at your fine hotels. Please advise me of the corporate policy, it will be used to determine if we will continue to frequent the Drury Inn & Suites.
Thank you,
