    Craig Park

Note to all in Indiana or who may be traveling through Indiana, concealed carry is legal in city parks in Greenwood. I called GPD this morning to inquire about the legality of carrying my pistol into Craig Park, a Greenwood city park, as long as i had a LTCF. The dispatcher i spoke to did not know so she asked her superior and he called me back. I asked him if i was legal and he said yes, but out of respect to the hosts of the graduation party i was going too, he said i should conceal to keep from being hassled. I said ok. I carried OWB in my new leather rig and hid it under two shirts, did not get made or even suspected. I was around teachers and staff from my very very catholic high school all day and noone suspected a thing. I am sure if i had been made, i would have heard about it. All in all, good day

    Nice

But I don't understand, is OC legal, or just CC? Not that it matters to me, just curious.
    Crime should be outlawed.

OC is perfectly legal in Indiana, however because of the group i was going to be with, i personally chose to CC, however Greenwood PD would prefer it if everyone CC'd in the parks

Lotta people here seem to have the "contrary " gene.

Point: If you carry a weapon for self defense you LOSE a lot of
your tactical advantage by Deliberately waving it in the faces of a
bunch of "sheep" while attending a social function at a public venue.

And don't give me the "nobody notices" speech , I don't buy it.

Open Vs. conceal carry arguments are not needed.
