Turnaround time for a FL CWP?
I just mailed off my permit application and all other info they wanted today, and was wondering if anyone else had done the same lately an gotten their permit back, and how long it took?
Im cant wait till i get it back. I feel naked down here in the lower 48 since i havent been able to carry. lol
I started carrying in AK as soon as i found out that you dont need a permit there and when i got transferred here to NC i had to put it back in the safe till i get my permit back. :(
Now i get to do the WW again haha

Took about three weeks for my renewal. Coworker just got his first Concealed Permit, took about a month.

Took my FL permit class on May 2nd, mailed app. in, May 4th. Received my permit on May 26th. I think that's pretty good.
BTW, I applied as a FL non-resident from Illinois.

Times for a permit have gone from about 3 months a while back, to only about 3-4 weeks now.

Mine took 12 weeks, but there were some "circumstances" and the process has been updated since... from what I understand, turnaround is under the 3 week mark now.

I got FL CCW in less than 4 weeks, and a replacement in less than a week due to incorrect name spelling. Good experience.
