Hey there, I have a couple of questions for you on your pursuit of the MA permit, I hope you don't mind. How long did it take for them to process your application? What was the reason that you put down for the permit? I am guessing that you are going for the Class A, right? Thanks for any help/info.

Congrats and Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

While you're a it, go for your NH Pistol and revolver license. Go to the NH dept of Public Safety website, download the form, send a front an dback copy of your Maine Permit, and copy of your Maine Drivers' License plus 100.00 for 4 years, send it to Concord Nh and you'll get it back in about 30 days.
BTW Welcome to the Forum! If you go to Kittery for your shooting supplies look me up..I work there

    Yes...MA considers a non-res license a TEMPORARY license.

I'm planning on taking a class from Mass Firearms School in Framingham, MA since its near my work so I could try for a non-res MA Class A LTC. I hear the process is much improved as of last year so I'm eager to hear how your adventure with MA goes from start to finish.
