    Running with a gun

So I've mentioned on here that I run with a gun (several threads, from getting soaked in the rain to carry options).

This was brought up at work by a coworker, to which another coworker responded "That's a bit much..." I'm not sure how to respond to this guy. We applied for our CHL's at the same time. I don't think he carries often, if at all (I only know of one time, the weekend after he received his license).

Is it a bit much? I make a point to carry anytime I can legally. This includes workouts.
    Knowing is half the battle.

Thing is about putting the gun on in the morning. It is like putting the mobile phone in the pocket... why do you do that?
Your only going to be out of the house for a few hours why do you HAVE to have a mobile?

You don't... well at least you won't until you need to use it. A gun is no different. Just like a mobile if it is sitting on the night stand at home when you need it what good will it do you?
There is something about firing 4,200 thirty millimeter rounds/min that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I don't carry in the shower. Any other time, there is at least one pistol within arms' length. If out of the house, I am carrying. Period.

Best to have your weapon and not need it than need it and not have it. Mine has become a part of my wardrobe.

Only time I'm not armed is when I'm asleep (in my bed) and then it's on the nightstand within reach.

Even the Texas Governer carries while walking his pooch....I guess that can be considered exercise, to an extent.

When I 'walk' any one of my dogs.......I'm running.

I remember some time back of a bicycle rider and also a jogger being attacked by mountain lions. I believe both were killed. How many women have been attacked and eventually killed on running trails? It is a dangerous world out there.

When they say something like that to me I only respond “Ok” and start to talk about something else or just go.
