Yeah, and that's why SC doesn't recognize our permits--no training requirement.

We're pushing forward.......this dosn't mean stop pushing to celebrate.

I'm just pleased my Rep. voted 'properly'.

I wish the permit fee was $30 here in GA. I just received my new permit in the mail Tuesday, and it cost me $70. Maybe there is somewhere I needed to go to get to the "special" price.

All kidding aside, it is a great thing to get rid of "Public Gathering."

Looks like SC has a problem to address, IMHO.

Ditto all those States with big $ nonsense to CC.

I'm pleased with the advancement, but disappointed he vetoed SB291, mostly due to the bold portion of the bill.

"Amended version allows licensed carry in airports (in non-secure areas), removes prohibitor of misdemeanor drug possession for getting a carry license, allows renewal of license by mail and removes need to be re-fingerprinted, prohibits the seizure or registration of firearms during official states of emergency."

In the parking lot of a school...if you work there or only if you are 'dropping off/picking up'?

    Congrats GA...

that was the case before this new law...but now there is no longer a 1000ft buffer zone so a park near a school is 100% legal to carry in no question and it also allows licensed college students to carry in their car before the change it was a felony so if i went to school in say Savannah which is about 50 mins from my house i would be disarmed the entire trip to and fro and any time if i decided to stay there late to go out to dinner etc

I get to try it out Friday. My daughter and I are visiting a college for the tour and I'll get to carry on the trip. On previous trips, I've had to make the entire trip completely unarmed or park off campus.

    Makes me happy!

It was reasonable (just an arm) until our RINO governor doubled the fees involved.
