I feel like a kid at Christmas

Got my ccw in the mail today. Can't wait to get my supertuck now. Ordered it after I did the ccw ppw because I thought it would take 3-4 months for the permit. Holster should be in within the next week. Did some of you guys feel like kids again? Hell, I am 45 and felt like I got my first 10 speed. Actually, I felt (almost) like I got my first something else, but we will leave it at that. CCW is great, but not THAT great.

Congrats on the permit and I did the happy dance when I received the phone call that my permit was ready. I already had my Crossbreed waiting for me at home. I then went to Wally World because I did need some food.

I was pretty bouncy when I got my permit in the mail. I was on the phone with my girlfriend, and she said I sounded like a 15 year old girl. I didn't realize I was that excited.

Congrats You now need to do the Wally Walk.

When I was waiting for my permit it felt lke waiting for Christmas. Everyday I waited for the mail to show up, even though I knew it would be about 8 weeks.

The day I got the letter saying it was ready, I rushed to the PD got my finished paperwork and off to the Dept. of Public Safety to get photographed and get my actual permit. Then off to the store to buy my first gun.

If was funny, when I got to the DPS, there was another guy therem who also just got him permit, boy was he excited. When we walked out he jumped up and clicked his heels. I kept seeing again all day at the gun stores.
