Gun, holster, magazines, ammo...cost $$
Maybe add a gym membership to the kit.
Long term solution: Eat healthy foods and implement a exercise regimen into your lifestyle.
Short term solution: Buy a OWB holster and wear shirts that fit in a manner that conceals your gun, but isn't too loose and sloppy looking. Short sleeve button up shirts and an Under Armour heat gear tank top is part of my summer attire, along with regular t-shirts that fit just loose enough for me to conceal my weapon.
Yoda read your sig.
My advice - lighten up.
I am a big fan of UBG holsters, i am 6'0 245....use a bonneville high ride owb holster for a springfield sub compact, covers and conceals very easy, or a canute, iwb....glock, conceals very good and comfy...quality work from this holster maker, but do not forget a good belt, he makes them also, but wherever ya go, get a gun belt not a wal-mart belt...but lately been carrying my little airweight smith, in my front pocket, n loving it...with a pocket holster....
Go to "Andrews Custom Leather". Click on Catalog.. Concealed.. and Carjacker Crossdraw. Wear it just like the picture, ie: 11 O'Clock.
Cover it with a untucked longer waisted shirt and it becomes concealed... and easy to get to.
Find the heaviest gun/holster combo you can find, 35-40 lbs. would be ideal. Then wear it while walking 2-3 brisk miles every morning. Problem solved.
I agree IWB works better for me and a forward cant of 15 degrees helps too. For comfort I would also suggest a pair od Perry suspenders:
These attach to any belt and support the weight of the gun and mag holder without having to cinch your belt so tight you can't breathe.
I am quite a bit shorter than the OP and find I can carry the glock IWB under an untucked shirt with no problem.
I am 5-8 and weigh 240 lbs so my love handles are probably as noticable as the Op's.
6'2'' 290 I carry a g26 in a Kholster IWB. I didn't think I would be able to carry IWB, but the gun disappears in this holster. I can even wear tshirts.
I am 6' / 280lbs. My success has been with my wife buying shirts in the "tall" size and one size larger. Some shirts, Carhart for example, I can wear my standard 2XL size and no problems with OSWB. Tees are my mainstay since I do mostly mechanical work these days. My ideal setup is a G26 or G27 in a Tagua holster. Total comfort however if I wear a long (tall) shirt a fullsize 1911 is not an issue - Providing - I am wearing a sturdy, well made belt. The proper belt plays a major roll for gravity challenged folk.
