    Dropped my extra mag....OOPS!

I was the only citizen at our village council meeting tonight. The fire chief was there, the public works dept. head, and the village police chief, all in the audience with me.

Had my LCP IWB of my cargo shorts. Extra mag in my left cargo pocket. Kicked back, crossed my left leg over my right....CLANG!! Extra mag is out of the pocket and on the floor. I picked it up quickly and put it in my front pocket.
Glanced a look at the police chief...he gave a nod and a little smirk.

    Gotta love small towns!

I love going to school up here (Tech Student). Out of all the places I have been in Michigan people in the U.P. seem to be the nicest. Plus the school has it's own shooting range.

I think it was Ironwood HS....they had a shooting range.
We have Archery in our school (Part of PE) and I am able to teach Hunter Safety as an elective.

Sounds like it's time to find some sort of closeable mag pouch 'eh? Ya, you don't want yer spare mag fallin' on da floor 'der.
I can only imagine the racket my spare 13 round mag hitting the floor would make. Nice that you were in good company though.

I think I may have the OP beat on this one ...

I was in a Berrings hardware store in Houston, checking out some grill supplies last summer. As I bent over to pick up a grill cover on the lower shelf, my Glock 19 spilled out of my IWB holster and onto the floor.

Moving forward to pick up the gun, I knocked over a battery display, causing dozens of D batteries to fly all over the isle this drawing the attention of a store employee.

Still no gun in hand, the 20 something manager came over, saw the gun and looked at me with a less than casual look. Still bent over, I walked toward the weapon and as I made one last effort to grab it, I kicked it forward, sliding all the way down the isle and at the feet of said manager.

In a position something resembling a beaten dog, I sulked over to the manager, CHL in hand and did my best mea culpa to him.

I think I may have panicked and said something like..."DONT MOVE.....someone just threw a gun at me"
