Totally worth it in my book. Solid without screaming "GUN BELT" to the world. I wear it every day to my office
I second that! GREAT belt for the money. Besides, I got mine on sale for $29.00. My wife couldn't believe how sturdy and well made it was, for the money. The only downside was that it had stamped underneath: "Made in China".

Anything else is just a substitute.

Check out the clearance belts. I always buy an oversize clearance belt and let a shoe repair guy shorten it. Costs about $5.00.

I see your from Fl. Check our the Florida Concealed carry forum too. Great guys and lots of Florida specific information.

I use a Dickies Belt from Walmart for $10.50! It is 1.25 wide and about 5/16 thick, fits all my pants, is stiff enough and thick enough and reversable. I only get 2 years out of my belts but that is 5$ per year. You have to search through the racks and some walmarts don't seem to carry them or perhaps they're sold but it is a good belt. You can also check outlet malls and burlington coat factory.

My edc is full size 1911 goes near 40oz.

Took me a long time to spend good money on a good belt. What a difference! Wish I had done it years ago. This has been doing very well for me, I bought it because I was familiar with Don Hume products. There may be better ones out there (for a price!) but for now I'm very happy.

1 more vote for the Cabela Doubleduty. Good for jeans and casual wear. For work I wanted something a little narrower. I recently got a 1 1/4 inch Looper belt. It seems to work well for me so far.

    A&G custom leather quick ship:

Quick ship leather belts, custom gun belts by A & G Custom Gun Leather

I got the 1 1/2" round buckle.... Its not the cheapest thing in the world for up front costs but it will last forever.

Or you could always get a leather blank from a local leather shop like tandy's and put one together fairly cheap... If you really want to have fun glue 2 blanks together and see how well you like the thickness.. SHould last a while depending on heat, moisture, abuse, yada yada yada.

I'll 2nd this belt. You're really able to pull the holster and gun into your body with make CC that much easier. You're not limited to finding a hole in the belt that works. The $25 cost isn't bad either and at that cost it's worth having in the collection. I never really thought a belt would make that much of a difference until i bought this one.
