Will be staying in the Crown Centre area this weekend. Looking for your favorite gunshop in KC, or to the East, and tell me
why it's your favorite. Please, no Bass Pro Shops, or Cabela's. Thanks in advance.

The only thing is, you're going to find the biggest selection of arms & accessories to look at from either Bass Pro or Cabela's.

I haven't lived in KC since '92 so all my favorite gun shops of the time have been closed for a while now. CR Specialty used to be one of the bigger one's having shops at 3 locations including only about 7 blocks from Crown Center, but alas, they are gone now too.

Update: You might try U.S. Gun Specialties which is located in Gladstone. You'll have to go north of the river off of I-29.

I just like the feeling of an "honest to God" gunshop over a "big box". A shop where you never know what you might find when you walk in. Alot of my collection is military, and I love walking into a shop and seeing some neat WWII weapons. Or maybe a Sub-2000 or all the other great guns you never see at a "big box". I am from a smaller community and am hoping one of these suggestions pans out. Will let you know what I find. Thanks for the leads.

Indoor range and gun shop. I bought my first reloading press there and first non-rimfire handgun. I also used to shoot bowling pin matches there.

U S Gun Specialties is not quite old time, but carry a mix of antique and new. l've bought six handguns from them in the pas year or so.
