Cabelas says OK to CC and OC

Just saw in the Boise Cabelas store, signs on the doors saying that CC is permitted and if you are OC please don't unholster your weapon. Weapons for sale/trade/repair still need recieved at the counter for inspection. YAHOO the world is slowly comming around.

Well good, b/c i've been CC'ing there for some time now. Can't imagine any store in that market would ban CC...wouldn't be good for their business model.

From what I gather that sign and the Bass pro sign have been confusing folks. I don't think they were ever against CC or OC. I think the sign and employee enforcement were confusing. There is a post in the OC forum that has the company policy in writing. It's post #120.

I almost took a picture of those signs to post when I was in Cabela's last week. I did notice that they had large signs at the entrance clearly stating that they were CC AND OC friendly. I think it even ended with a line that stated they fully support the 2nd.

It's been that way with Cabela's for years - they allow whatever the state law allows. Same for WalMart.
