This post is exactly what I am looking for. My family and I leave today to head to Chattanooga. I called yesterday to inquire and the lady with the state said most places that are off limits are posted. I know we will be hitting the aquarium and several of the other tourist spots. We are also going to a fireworks show at "the river". We dont drink but plan to do some pretty fine eating while we are there. Any suggestions. Do any of these places throw redflags.
In Chattanooga, you must go by the Choo Choo downtown and eat at The Station House. It is housed in an old building that use to hold the luggage when the trains ran. It is very good food, and all the waiters and waitresses sing on the stage while you wait. Its a must see for the out-of-towners.
check out gunlaws.us for the exact list of laws,
but as far as where u will be going- any restaraunt/bar isnt a problem, but any place that is posted (correct wording OR the circle-slash symbol) is legit.
lots of places in gatlinburg and pidgeon forge are posted, as its so touristy.
having said taht, make sure to check out riply aquarium. its awesome (but is posted).
pretty sure dollywood is as well

If you want some of the best donuts in the world, hit THE DONUT FRIAR located in THE VILLAGE in Gatlinburg.
That's right, I'll get a kick back!
