As Clint Eastwood would say, "You know how every once in a while you run into someone you shouldn't have ***** with. I'm that guy."

    Nice shooting.

Maybe someday the media's default position will not be that armed self-defense is normally prosecutable and the exception must be remarkable.

Knowing that area extremely well as I do since I just moved from there a little over a month ago, I would say that this young man probably works for RangeUSA. That is the gun shop/range closest to where this happened. And as I used to work part time at RangeUSA, I think I have a fairly good idea who this man is.

Good for him. And he did the area a huge service by taking out at least one gang member/thug/scum bag.

    Well done I say.

    Memphis Robber??

+1 on taking out the trash. The second one will likely get released on bond to go do the same thing again. There are lots of places I will not go to in Memphis now that 40 years ago I did. Times change and neighborhoods go down hill. The south side is not on my list of "Wanna See Again" areas.

On my last cross country trip I stopped in Memphis long enough to drive by Graceland and gas up. The flavor of the population, especially in a major tourist area, was pretty poor.

The title of this thread should have been "Memphis Robbers Pick Right Victim."

In Minnesota (and I'm sure other states), an accomplice can be charged with the murder of other accomplices who die in the commission of a crime. In this case, I'm guessing something similar will happen.
