What a joy to read Grady...and what a Fourth of July 'grand finale' ending with the story about the 15 year-old girl shooting your .45!!! Wonderful.
And thanks for all the time you spent writing this too.
(writing well/beautifully is hard work...at least it is for me.)
All the best to you and yours.

Kinda says it all. Thank you, Grady!
Happy Birthday, America. Thanks for what you've given me.
"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."

You have my sympathy.
Robin threatened to make a Christmas card out of a picture of me in Boxers, Boat shoes, a 2" .357, and a 180 lumen flashlight when a possum invaded hot tub time.

Grady I was going to say that I used to live in Ill and wish I still did so I could look you up for some range time. Then I realised if I did I would have never have found this board because I would not be able to carry! Great story, thanks

I'm with the Mrs... I fail to see the downside here.
