for a mail in application, yeah thats pretty darn quick. 15 days is about the quicest i've seen so far.. considering my wifes took 5 months. the fact that it issued 7 days before you actually received it... might actually be one of the quickest. i did it at a dept of agriculture office and got it in the mail 10 days later. i can't seem to recall the amt of days between mine being issued and being received.

Wow, mine expires here in FL on the 27th of July. I just mailed it in for renewal about a week ago, so I hope it makes it a seamless renewal so I don't have to quit carrying until I get the new card after the 27th. I grew my goatee just for this pic, it's my first official document since I lost 135 pounds after my gastric bypass surgery last year. Actually exactly a year ago on June 29th. I really do look like a new man and much younger, too. The goatee helps now and my wife even likes the "look." I'm thinking of having a T-shirt made that says "GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE. PEOPLE WITH GOATEES KILL PEOPLE." What do ya think?

We have a Regional Fast Processing Office here in Tallahassee and I know several who were issued within 4 days.
I am consistently on record and will continue to be on record as opposing concealed carry.

That is very quick for being out of state. Heck, it's quick for being in state.

My permit took 17 days from the day it left my mailbox to the day it came back to my mail box back in February.

I got mine in eight days, total, from the time I wrote the check and mailed in the app to the day it was in my hand. But ... I live in Florida. For a mail in app from CA, that's pretty durn quick.

Definitely mail it in sheepdog, don't wait for the lazy guv'mint workers that work their 8 hours a day, meeting a bogus criteria of clients served, while getting a morning break, an afternoon break and an hour for lunch.
