    Please! I need opinions

    I usally carry my Ruger P90, and I recently aquired a Smith and Wesson Revolver: Model 642 J-Frame .38 S&W Special +P

I am sure there are plenty that have carried this, and still do.

So is it better inside the pocket holster or iwb carry.

Thanks for your opinions ahead of time.

Carry it from where you can conceal/draw it best.

I carry my baby Glock in my Pocket, or OWB, and IWB. Usually depends on how Im dressed and what I'm doing.

What's best is what works best FOR YOU.

I personally don't like pocket carry as I am usually in dress slacks, jeans, or suits. Pocket carry only works for me when I wear cargo shorts. I don't like having a revolver bouncing about in the pocket of a coat, either.

Personally, I prefer an IWB carry for the 642. I have a very thin FIST IWB holster for it that works very well.

I regularly pocket carry an S&W Model 36.

I started with a Desantis Nemesis cordura pocket holster then switched to one I designed and made myself:

The best way to carry is the the way that works best for you.

For most people IWB/OWB/SOB etc. works best. Pocket carry is just fine but for most people, pocket carry presents access problems.

I pocket carry a 642 or a 637 daily. My right front pocket has been lengthened and reinforced by my seamstress(see below) and I wear Perry suspenders under a cover shirt/sweater to support weapon, speed strip, flashlight and cell phone that I normally carry. I live in a rural/small town area and the outside the pants shirt is the norm. To me sweeping the jacket/vest/shirt and drawing is more cumbersome than drawing from the pocket where I already have a grip on the weapon. Both pistols are very light and I can't even feel they are there when I walk. Lengthened pocket puts gun further down on leg"curve" ,making it blend into natural form of leg. Pocket carry works no matter what the weather and conceals weapon from prying eyes or inadvertant "printing".

642 in a Nemesis holster is for slacks and jeans (tailored pockets as below), and 637 in an Uncle Mikes holster is for shorts ( I go through shorts so quick (washing) in the warm season that I don't spend the money on getting them tailored.)

This works very well for me with my LCR. You do have to start buying your pants looking for big pockets though.
