Concealed carry at a Tennessee wedding
My wife and I are attending a wedding in Tennessee this weekend. The rehearsal dinner is in a restaurant that serves alcohol. The formal evening wedding, reception, and dinner are at some kind of a formal garden (yeh, I know it's hot!) and alcohol will probably be served. My wife and I both carry concealed but what are the rules now for TN? Getting "lost" and failing to show is not an option.

CCW permit holder for Idaho, Utah, Pennsylvania, Maine and New Hampshire. I can carry in your country but not my own.

Tennessee, in a garden, in formal wear. In July. CC is the least of your worries my friend! Stay hydrated!

Might want to skip the booze because of its dehydrating effects regardless

Why not pocket carry or carry a small gun like an LCP?

Having just moved from God's Country, better known to most folks as Tennessee, I can tell you that in a lot of the state, open carry is fairly common. But, as the OP asked about carrying where alcohol is served, I believe the Governors veto of the so called "restaurant carry law" was overridden by the legislature. I am not sure if the new law is in effect yet. I would really advise the OP to ask the TN State Police about this. (the original law was nullified and ruled unconstitutionally vague what ever that means)
But, if the new law is in effect, it states basically the same thing as the original one in that if one does carry in a place where alcohol is served, the person carrying may not drink alcohol at all. So just be aware of that.
