It sounds like your traffic stop turned out to be a good experience for you, and thanks for being a good guy about it.
FWIW, most of the threads on "our" forum generally title "good encounter with leo" or something like that.
We should all remember that in the leo's mind it benefits all of us when he leaves the traffic stop thinking, "good encounter with concealed carrier". By far most of the threads I read here, the permit holder's typically try to abide by all the laws and courtesies during their traffic stop.
Congratulations to all of those who do that.........it eventually affects all of us in a positive way.
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.
I like his line about it being the best investment!
I hope any traffic stops I may have are that well handled.
It could be worse!
Tell u my story. This past May my 2 bro-in-laws & I rode our motorcycles to Pigeon Forge Tn from north Fl. Unknown to us was a bike weekend in Cheorkee,N.C. Just outside town was a massive road block with state troopers, res. police and county sherrif . They said they were checking for DUI and unlicensed riders.
When I handed the trooper my license I said" You may notice under my license is my ccpermit and I'm packing". He handed me back my license and said" You're one of the good guys, Enjoy your stay"
Very Nice! I'm sure the CC permit may have been yet another indication to him that you probably weren't the criminal type but it sounds to me like the best thing you had going for you was your driving record. Well done!
