My wife doesn't care what I do with my guns as long as they are locked up tight when not on my hip (have small child). I think that's fair.

My wife has a carry permit and a Ruger LCP so she's fine with me carrying.

What about at night, when you're sleeping? If you're broken into, will you be able to get access? Or do you sleep with it close to hand? I have mine under my pillow. Can't sleep without it.

My wife did get her permit, and she has several guns. Once in a while she will take a weapon with her, but not often.
She never says anything about my being armed...she knows my firearm is like my watch, wallet, and cell phone, and they all go along with me.

My wife hates guns and its even worse that I have a CCW. Living here in CA, she's not alone.

So, we pretty much have a don't ask, don't tell policy. And for whatever reason, that works for us.

WOW, you have a ccw permit in Cali? Are you in the entertainment industry or have some kind of contacts that help you get that?

There are certain counties in California that are "Shall Issue." My Sheriff is Pro-Carry. Although, if I remember correctly, it took something like 138 days to get it.

Just about every business owner I know has a CCW.

My wife feels much safer with me carrying. Obviously, she hasn't seen me shoot!

I guess I'm just lucky because my wife carries everyday, everywhere as well. So she is definitely on the same page.

Even though my wife does not like guns, and is reluctant to shoot one of my handguns, I know she appreciates the fact that I am armed most of the time.

My wife fully approves. In fact she took the ccw class with me and now we both have our permits.
