Well JAMNMIKE, officially the AZ statutes call the permit a "Concealed Carry of Weapons" permit, so that's where CCW comes from. It allows the concealed carry of all kinds of weapons, hence not a CHP or CFP.

In Florida, it's a CWFL (Concealed weapon or firearms license), and it covers a wide variety of implements including firearms. ASP batons, auto-opening knives, electric weapons, sprays, etc.

Indiana is a LTCH, License to carry Handgun, we do not have any laws on the books on knifes, or other weapons, so its pretty much what you feel you need within reason

Texas uses CHP for "Concealed Handgun permit."

    EDIT -

Correction: Texas uses CHL for "Concealed Handgun License. My apologies.
