    I know that we can all read the laws, I've done a lot of that too but back to the reason that I called...     Yuch!!! That's why I like New Mexico, anyone from any state may carry anything in their vehicle open or concealed period. Outside your vehicle, if NM doesn't honor your permit, you may open carry.....we use the KISS system.

    You finally did the right thing and called the State Agency. Calling local PDs sometimes gets you more questions then answers.
