    Check with your airline on their regs. Search here flying with firearms. No open carry in Denver. Unless a place has a metal dector or screening you are good to go.

    I'm not really sure. I think so. I wish I could open carry there since I don't get to here in Texas.

    Sept must be the month to go to Colorado! Headed out there myself in Sept. CO recognizes MO's ccw, so I will be carrying.

    Arffdog, we are starting down in the South/middle park and going to work north. South platt, frying pan, 11 mile, Spinny, Blue and Colorado. We tend to always end up in the Kremmling/Grand lake area. Fishing is always excellent and Byers Canyon is too much to pass up. Drop in and climb out and the river will reward you with some nice fish.

    Be aware that Colorado is gun friendly, but Denver is not.

    Be careful what you have in your car.

    What you have in your car is not so much the issue. In fact, you can carry concealed in your vehicle in Colorado without a CCW. However, as has been stated previously, Denver does not allow open carry. Coors Field and Mile High are a touchy subject. Their websites state no guns, but there are no metal detectors or 'electronic weapons screening devices' in place, even though there are security personnel. Refer to Colorado statute 18-12-214 to see what I'm talking about. I'm not a lawyer, but it seems to me that it is permissable to carry to these two events.

    (4) A permit issued pursuant to this part doesn not authorize a person to carry a concealed wespon into a public building at which:

    (a) Security personnel and electronic weapons screening devices are
    permanently in place at each enterance to the building;

    (b) Security personnel electronically screen each person who enters the
    building to determine whether the person is carrying a weapon of any kind;
    and

    (c) Security personnel require each person who is carrying a weapon of any
    kind to leave the weapon in possession of security personnel while the
    person is in the building.
    What the **** - How did I end up on this soapbox again?!?!?
