Just a word to the curious; CLT does NOT allow concealed or open carry into the terminal building. I dropped off a family friend at the airport today (a comely, attractive young lady, hence the escort) and made it to the sliding doors when I was confronted by the familiar red circle and slash. I briefly debated just carrying into the building, but ultimately decided to just return to the car and disarm. I didn't want to risk causing an incident and I could hardly say I didn't see the sign; they're on both sides of every door. I'm not fussin' about it; just wanted to make sure anyone else traveling to CLT is aware of their rules.
(Did the search thing and couldn't find anything referencing Charlotte Douglas Airport (CLT)...)

Same thing at RDU, no carry period.
