Problem getting my CWP..
I have an issue, I recently applied for my CWP in florida and I got a letter back stating that they needed paperwork for an incident in texas that was going to go to court but got dropped by the court system nothing every happened with it. I tried to contact the court house there where it happened but all they happened to point me to, to get my records was a website that stated if I was convicted or deffered adjucent? That my records would be available to pick up.
My question is where do I get the court papers that would say it was dismissed? this happened about 5 years ago and Im now stationed in south carolina :/

Why are you applying for CWFLs in different places? What state is your home of record? You should have a permit from your home state or the state where stationed.

Worst case you may need to hire a lawyer and get the record expunged.

If you google Texas Criminal Records; you might be able to find the record online. A lot of states of online public searches. Here in MN n WI they have them. And you search a name and gives you plaintiffs, defendants, civil penalty, criminal penalty, charges, and what happened. Where you were convicted or Dismissed. If you can get this then you should just be able to print it off and submit it to show your case was dismissed.

Not sure who you contacted at the texas courthouse, the clerk of courts would probably be able to help if it wasn't them you already talked to. Just make sure you don't go carrying on bases.
