I am a very proud husband.

To all of you other men out there who have a spouse or girlfriend that you have to convince about guns, and CCW...Im sorry. My wife is going to take her CCW class on Sat and is very excited. Her G26 is on order but not here yet so she will shoot it with my P228. We went to the range yesterday, and she did awesome. She shot about 100 rounds and kept almost all of her 5 shots groups fist sized, off hand at 21-30 feet. So proud of her. Here are some pics to rub it in. LOL

Congratulations. I know how you feel. My wife decided two years ago that the world is getting more dangerous and got her permit. Her favorite carry gun is a
.38 revolver and she bested her whole class.

My wife is going to her class in two weeks. As the day grows closer the excitement builds. She is not only practicing but reading about ccw obligation. She really wants to be informed. The course allows me (previously certified) to sit with her for free. I really think I will get a lot out of this too.

I too am sitting in and probably helping with admin. (an LE colleague of mine is teaching) and said I could sit in. I am a probation officer, and see my bad guys out and about quite often, and sometimes with her with me. We have procedures on place for when it happens but sometimes it is unavoidable. She understands the need for self protection, and like I said..I am very proud.

I know what you mean. I found one myself about a year ago. She is truly my better half, and everything I'd ever ask for. Nothing like it.

Congrats to the wife on her decision and congrats to you for having her as your wife!!!
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Congrats to both of you. My wife completed her course a week or so ago and turned in all her paperwork on Tue. Now for the wait. I got to sit in on her class too. It helps to be able to answer questions if you know what she saw.
